Problem Note 20888: Poor performance in SAS® BI Dashboard when using a SAS® Information Map with row-level permissions
You might experience bad performance with SAS BI Dashboard when you are
using an information map with row-level permissions in conjunction with SAS
Workspace servers that are slow on startup.
Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
After you have applied the hot fix, specify the privilegedUser
attribute of the DataSourceDef
element in the infomap.dsx file. This file is usually located here:
\Lev1\SASBIDashboard\dataSourceDefs
If the value for privilegedUser
matches the pool administrator, then information map row-level permissions should work with
workspace server pooling.
Here is an example of using privilegedUser
:
providerClass="com.sas.bi.dashboard.provider.InfoMapProvider"
privilegedUser="servername\sastrust">
