Problem Note 20801: Calculation operation returns 'The parameter is incorrect' error
When calculating a model in SAS Activity-Based Management, you may get
the following error:
Fatal Errors
Total Number of Fatal Errors: 1
Description: Unexpected error occurred during the operation.
Period: 2007 Scenario: Actual Count: 1
If you select Show Details, you will see:
1. Generate Report Tables
The parameter is incorrect.
To work around the problem, go to SAS Activity-Based Management Server
and:
1. Click Start, click Run, type dcomcnfg, and then click OK.
2. Expand Component Services >> Computers >> My Computer >> COM+
Applications
3. Highlight COM+ Applications
4. Click View, click Status
5. Shut down any currently running COM+ applications starting with
'SAS ABC...'
6. Shut down SAS ABCM Datatier
7. Start SAS ABCM Datatier
