Usage Note 20360: Adding a product after hot fixes have been installed may break the sas
link
By default !SASROOT/sas is a link which points to
!SASROOT/bin/sas_en. During the installation of some hot fixes,
the sas link is redirected to !SASROOT/hotfix/bin/sas_en
Installing a new product after a hot fix has been applied may cause
the sas link to revert to !SASROOT/bin/sas_en, which may prevent
some hot fixes from being loaded.
To resolve this problem, run the following command from your !SASROOT
directory to manually relink !SASROOT/sas to !SASROOT/hotfix/bin/sas_en:
ln -s !SASROOT/hotfix/bin/sas_en sas
!SASROOT is the location of your SAS Installation.
If the problem is that the hot fix directory no longer exists after the
product is installed, see #020132 .
