Problem Note 20147: Accessing DB2 9 using the SAS/ACCESS® Interface to DB2 might result in an error
The following errors might occur during fetches when accessing DB2
9 (ESE) on the z/OS operating system with the SAS/ACCESS
Interface to DB2 using SAS® 9.1.3:
-20411 A FETCH CURRENT CONTINUE OPERATION WAS REQUESTED FOR
cursor-name BUT THERE IS NO PRESERVED, TRUNCATED DATA TO
RETURN
-225 FETCH STATEMENT FOR CURSOR cursor-name IS NOT |VALID BECAUSE
THE CURSOR IS NOT DEFINED AS SCROLL
These errors occur sporatically and do not occur in previous versions of
DB2. The problem occurs because some reserved fields are not
initialized when information from these fields is passed to the Call
Attachment Facility. These fields are ignored in previous versions of
DB2. In DB2 9 these fields are checked and must be initialized.
