Problem Note 19979: Memory overrun causes segmentation violation with the VIEWTABLE window

A memory overrun with the following error messages might occur when you attempt to open a table in the VIEWTABLE window.

   Segmentation Violation In Task [ ViewTabl ]
   Fault and traceback information not available
   Task Traceback

   ERROR: Generic critical error.

This problem involves internal validation code for the window and simply prevents the window from opening. It has only been reported and replicated on the Solaris 10 x64 operating system.

To circumvent this problem, you can display the table in the FSVIEW window.
