In SAS® Marketing Automation, the following error occurs and the process
fails when you execute a multi-threaded diagram interactively in Campaign
Studio or by running a scheduled campaign.

This problem is caused by a concurrency issue. You can only resolve this
process by setting the "Maximum number of concurrent processes per
diagram" field to 1 on the Environment tab of the SAS Marketing
Automation Administration plug-in in SAS® Management Console.
Note: this solution can create performance overhead because
individual campaign diagrams will not multi-thread even though separate
campaigns will execute. Because the individual diagrams will not
multi-thread, it takes longer to run them.
