Problem Note 19656: Java.sql.SQLException: "Unable to execute update for an undetermined
reason"
When using SAS® Sourcing Data Quality software with item descriptions
containing both single and double quotes, the following error may be
generated:
java.sql.SQLException: Unable to execute update for an undetermined
reason.
com.sas.iom.SASIOMDefs.GenericError: SQL passthru expression
contained these errors:
ERROR: Invalid hexadecimal constant string "2"X....
