Problem Note 19645: SASĀ® Data Integration Studio 3.4 jobs with an SQL join transformation might become corrupted if you insert additional transformations into the flow
A SAS Data Integration Studio 3.4 job might become corrupted if it
contains an SQL join transformation and you add more transformations
later. As a result of the corruption, tables that you previously dragged
to drop zones will appear in the upper-left corner of the Process
Designer after you save and reopen the job. You might also receive the
following error message when you reopen the job:
Error reading metadata. Expected "</TransformationStep>" to
terminate element starting on line1'"
