Using the NOIPASSTHRU option in the PROC SQL statement does not disable implicit pass-through. Here is an example of the syntax:
proc sql noipassthru;
Specifying DIRECT_SQL=NO in the LIBNAME statement disables implicit pass-through.
The NOIPASSTHRU option in the PROC SQL statement enables you to control implicit pass-through at a more granular level.
