Attempts to invoke the SAS® Information Delivery Portal might fail with the following error appearing in the portal log:

The preceding error indicates a problem with authenticating the sasguest account.

To verify that the sasguest account is defined properly in the metadata, log into the metadata server via the SAS® Management Console using the sasguest user ID and password. Once you are logged in, check the bottom, middle section of the Console window. If the sasguest user shows as PUBLIC, then this account is not defined properly in the User Manager. Correct the login information defined for sasguest to resolve the problem.
