Problem Note 19397: In SASĀ® Anti-Money Laudering, INSTALL.SAS program copies !SASROOT/.../.../SASMACR.sas7bcat to !AMLROOT/custom/source
In SAS® Anti-Money Laundering, the INSTALL.SAS program copies
the following code to the !AMLROOT/custom/source
directory:
!SASROOT/antimnylndda/cmacros/sasmacr.sas7bcat
This action causes negative side effects because it corrupts the application of hot fixes. Copying the SASMACR file to the
!AMLROOT/custom/source
directory could cause custom, stored, and compiled
macros to be mixed with product macros.
This would make it difficult to
apply hot fixes and upgrades. In addition, this copy action can
overwrite the existing SASMACR,
which might contain specific customer code.
This copy step will be removed from the INSTALL.SAS program.
Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
