on the Windows Itanium 64-bit operating systems (minimum SAS release
levels are stated):

64-bit SAS/ACCESS Interface to PC Files, which is SAS 9.1.3
on Windows Itanium and 9.2, is supported as follows:

The Libname Engines for Excel and MSAccess are NOT
available on Windows 64-bit Itanium because the Libname
Engines require the MS Jet Database Engine, a component
that is not available in this environment. Instead, PROC
Import/Export can be used.

The Libname Engines can be used for Excel and MSAccess
when the PC Files Server is installed on Windows 64-bit Itanium.
