When querying a SAS OLAP Cube that has member-level security applied, you might notice that available memory degrades or that you receive the following error message in the OLAP Server log:
><Exceptions><Exception><SASMessage severity="Error">An OLAP server thread has failed</SASMessage></Exception><Exception><SASMessage severity="Error">Access violation</SASMessage></Exception></Exceptions>
This problem is occurring because the SAS OLAP Server is not freeing up memory that is no longer needed after a permission condition has been evaluated.
