Measure captions are limited to 30 characters for information maps based on OLAP data.
SAS® Information Map Studio and PROC INFOMAPS will truncate a measure caption greater than 30 characters in a SAS® OLAP cube.
The Visual Data Explorer will trucate cube measures at 30 characters when opening a cube directly. This behaviour exists in both the Portal and SAS® Web OLAP Viewer for Java.
SAS® AppDev Studio custom OLAP applications will fail if you add a DataItem to the BusinessQuery with a label longer than 30 characters.
