Usage Note 19969: SQL*Loader error: Expecting positive integer or column name, found
keyword year
The following error message may be issued when attempting to BULKLOAD to
Oracle a SAS dataset contains columns with names like: YEAR, MONTHS,
DAY.
The error message from SQL*Loader is:
SQL*Loader-350: Syntax error at line1.
Expecting positive integer or column name, found keyword year.
R=BLANKS ,YEAR POSITION(75:82) DOUBLE NULLIF YEAR=BLANKS ,MONTH POSIT
These columns must be quoted to be used as object names.
To resolve this problem, use the libname or dataset option:
PRESERVE_COL_NAMES=YES.
