Usage Note 19872: No variables displayed in the Forecast Studio new project wizard
When creating a new project in Forecast Studio, the 'Variables to
Assign' list may be blank in the new project wizard. This will occur
if the data set has variable names that contain blanks or special
characters. This may be the case if Enterprise Guide was used
to create the data set.
Enterprise Guide sets the option validvarname=ANY which allows
blanks and special characters in the column name. The default for
this option in SAS is VALIDVARNAME=V7, which does not allow the use of
special characters and blanks in the column name. The use of
VALIDVARNAME=ANY is only supported for Base SAS and SAS\Stat procedures
only.
To resolve this issue, rename the columns using names that do
not include blanks or special characters.
