Usage Note 19598: SAS Design-Time Controls gets a Microsoft VBScript runtime error
(0x800A01AD) when I try to create an ASP file
In SAS Design-Time Controls, if you try to create an ASP file in an HTML
editor you could get this message:
Microsoft VBScript runtime (0x800A01AD)
ActiveX component can't create object: 'SAS.AppServerPostURL'
/sasaccesspage.asp, line 131
This problem occurs because SAS Design-Time Controls is not registering
the ASP file with Windows. This has to be done manually.
The solution is to run regsvr32 and register the Appserver.dll that
installs with SAS Design-Time Controls in the Windows registry. Open
the command prompt window and type the following, on one line:
C:\WINNT\system32\regsvr32
"C:\Program Files\SAS\SAS Design-Time Controls\AppServer.dll"
Do not hit the Enter key when typing the above command.
