Problem Note 19527: Specifying the NOIPASSTHRU option in PROC SQL does not disable implicit
passthru
The NOIPASSTHRU option on the PROC SQL statement does not disable
implicit passthru.
Specifying NOIPASSTHRU using the LIBNAME access method does disable
implicit passthru. This option used on the PROC SQL statement allows
for controlling implicit passthru at a more granular level.
