Problem Note 19217: Deleting code or data nodes before migration might cause errors in SAS®
Enterprise Guide®
Deleting code or data nodes before migrating a project to SAS Enterprise
Guide 4.1 might cause the following error and message:
Enterprise Guide has encountered an unexpected error;
click Show Details for more information.
System.NullReferenceException
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
This will most likely occur if the deleted code nodes generated data
used by subsequent tasks in the project.
To circumvent the problem, open the project in the version of SAS
Enterprise Guide that was used to create the project, add the code to
regenerate the data, rerun the project, save the project, and then try
again to migrate the project to SAS Enterprise Guide 4.1.
