Problem Note 19100: DBCS characters, such as Japanese or Chinese, are not valid in SAS®

DBCS characters from such languages as Japanese or Chinese are not valid in SAS filenames (SAS datasets, catalogs, and so on) in releases prior to SAS 9.3.
The VALIDMEMNAME= and VALIDFMTNAME= options are now production SAS options for 9.3.
