Problem Note 18957: The Loader transformation's "Update/Insert" technique in SASĀ® Data Integration Studio 3.4 might load nonmapped target-table columns with incorrect data
The Loader transformation in SAS Data Integration Studio 3.4 provides a
way to generate DATA-step code that updates a target table or inserts
rows in the table, based on the match of an indexed field that is found
by using the KEY= option in the MODIFY statement. It is possible that
any missing or unmapped columns in the target table will be updated
with values from the previously read row if the:
- load style is "Update/Insert"
- matching-rows technique is "Modify Using Index"
- "Blanks may replace non-blank values" check box is unchecked
