Problem Note 18942: SAS® Data Integration Studio SAP jobs can be corrupted by the Export/Import or Copy/Paste operations

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

A job that uses the SAP CallRFC transformation or that was built with SAS® Data Surveyor for SAP BW or for SAP R/3 and that is then exported to a SAS package file can be corrupted if you:

  • import the job to another repository
  • copy and paste the job into the same repository in which it resides
  • use the Paste Special functionality

Jobs that contain the CallRFC transformation might have an incomplete CALLRFC procedure statement if the transformation is originally created with input parameters that are handled as values.

Code generation in jobs that are created with SAS Data Surveyor can fail, and you will receive the following error message:

Array index out of range: 0

In the Properties window for the BWLoader transformation, the CDC flag will be unselected even if you selected it originally. You cannot select it again and save the change.

A fix for this problem is planned to be included in the latest hot fix for SAS Data Integration Studio.
