Usage Note 18897: SAS 9 Object Spawner requires the SAS SVC
SAS version 9 is the first release in which the object spawner requires that you install the SAS SVC on your z/OS system. If you do not have the SVC installed you will see an error message similar to the following.

If you see "16d" in the sdwacmp then SAS is looking for the default SVC 109 and either the SAS SVC is not installed or the TK SVC options are not set in the TKMVSENV file. If you see 84Fxxd000, then SAS is looking for a user SVC and the SVC is not installed.
