Problem Note 18686: "Data set has no observations", "chart has no data", "This range is repeated, or values overlap" messages when binning variables

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you bin variables, SAS® Enterprise MinerTM may return bins that have overlapping limits in the following nodes:

  • Filter Outliers
  • Segment Profile
  • Scorecard

When you try to view the Interval Variables, plot, you might get a popup window message:

   Data set has no observations

You might also see a grayed out plot window with the message:

   Chart has no data

Also, the SAS log might show:

ERROR: This range is repeated, or values overlap: 0-0.
