Problem Note 18572: Large broadcast from SAS® Email Marketing not sending all emails

If SAS Email Marketing is executing a long broadcast which runs for more than 2 hours, the RMI connection to the grid nodes break down yet only a finished message is reported in the SAS Email Marketing log.

For example, if you schedule a broadcast containing 600,000 emails, then once the broadcast has run for approximately 2 hours and sent out 357,000 of the emails, the broadcast stops and reports that it has finished in the log.

The audit file documents the 357,000 contacts sent but the remainder are never broadcast.
