Problem Note 18376: Errors occur in PROC METALIB when running solutionloadsampledata.bat
When you run PROC METALIB to load solution sample data with a localized
version of SAS (including Italian, Polish, French, Spanish, and German),
you may receive error messages similar to the following:
ERROR: UNABLE TO ACCESS MESSAGE 740.248
ERROR: UNABLE TO ACCESS MESSAGE 740.249
ERROR: UNABLE TO ACCESS MESSAGE 740.250
To avoid these error messages, remove the file core.msg from one
of the following directories, depending on which localization of
SAS you use:
!SASROOT/nls/it/sasmsg/
!SASROOT/nls/es/sasmsg/
!SASROOT/nls/fr/sasmsg/
!SASROOT/nls/de/sasmsg/
!SASROOT/nls/pl/sasmsg/
Or, you can apply the following hot fix.
