Usage Note 18347: User-defined formats are not available to select in SAS® Information Map Studio for OLAP measures

Although SAS Information Map Studio lists User-defined as a Format type selection for OLAP measures, user-defined formats cannot be selected. The Help is also incorrect.
You also cannot select a user-defined formats for an OLAP category; however, SAS Information Map Studio does not display User-defined as a format option for categories.
In addition, if a user-defined format is specified for a measure when the cube is built, SAS Information Map Studio displays a message when you select the measure for the information map if the format is not available. In version 3.1, a "missing format" message appears. In version 4.2, you are warned that your query will fail if the format is not valid.
