Problem Note 18313: Missing data might occur when importing Microsoft Excel files into SAS®

Rows or columns of data might be missing after importing Microsoft Excel
data into SAS Enterprise Guide. To attempt to circumvent the problem,
use the following steps to change a registry setting:
- Select Start ► Run. Enter the command Regedit and click OK.
- Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
- Expand to Software\Microsoft\Jet\4.0\Engines.
- Select Excel.
- Right-click on TypeGuessRows and choose Modify.
- Change the value to 0 (Zero).
