Problem Note 18305: Garbage characters in SAS log when localized DBCS SAS is used with products related to the Workspace server

While we use localized DBCS SAS^® with workspace server related products like Information Map Studio or Data Integration Studio, any job attempting to flush the SAS log on the language service may cause an error message on log:

ERROR: Some code points did not transcode

When this error occurs, garbage characters are printed in the SAS log.
