SAS Enterprise Guide 3.x and higher replaced the Alt+digit keyboard shortcuts that were used in SAS Enterprise Guide 2.x with the following mnemonic shortcuts:

• Project Explorer - Alt+V+P
• Task List - Alt+V+A
• Server List - Alt+V+S
• Task Status - Alt+V+K
• Server Log - Alt+V+L
• SAS Folders - Alt+V+O

Pressing Alt+V moves the focus to the View menu, then pressing the third letter selects that item.

You can press the 3 keys in sequence. For example, to view the server list, press the Alt key, then the V key, then the S key.

Note: The convention for documenting key shortcuts is to write the sequence with plus (+) signs between the keystrokes. You do not have to press the plus (+) key.

To read a SAS data set in SAS Enterprise Guide 3.x, we integrated a third-party grid control. Unfortunately, that grid control is not compatible with JAWS. We are looking into this for a future release of SAS Enterprise Guide.
