Usage Note 18071: "Error: Cannot open SASHELP.PRDAUTH.PRODAUTH.SCL" might be returned when you run SAS® AppDev Studio(tm)
You might see following error when you run SAS AppDev Studio, even
when SAS® Enterprise Miner™ is not part of the product being used, or part
of your existing license.
ERROR: The SAS Enterprise Miner product with which the procedure is
associated is either not licensed for your system or the product
license has expired. Please contact your SAS installation
representative.
ERROR: Cannot open SASHELP.PRDAUTH.PRODAUTH.SCL.
This error indicates that the SAS AppDev Studio Server Component CD
has not been installed on the SAS server.
This CD resides in the 802 Server Media section in your SAS
Installation Kit. The CD is called SAS AppDev Studio Server Components.
When you insert this CD, the SAS AppDev
Studio Server-Side Catalogs 3.0 installation is displayed. Perform this installation.
If you are installing from a SAS Software Depot, go to the
server2cd\appdevaddons directory and run setup.exe.
Note: This might affect other SAS products too. Another way to correct
this is to go into the following directory and remove the following
catalogs without affecting Enterprise Miner:
"C:\Program Files\SAS\SAS 9.1\dmine\sashelp"
* cleattr.sas7bcat
* prdauth.sas7bcat
* rocf.sas7bcat
* rocfsmp.sas7bcat
* rprdath.sas7bcat
* rsasmod.sas7bcat
* rsclmod.sas7bcat
* usrauth.sas7bcat
These catalogs were used in SAS Enterprise Miner 5.0, which was part of
SAS 9.0. They are not used in SAS 9.1.3.
