Problem Note 18019: The default value for the FTEXT= graphics option with the Japanese or
Korean install is incorrectly set
With the upgrade to SAS® 9.1.3 SP4, the default value for the FTEXT=
graphics option is incorrectly set to KANJI (instead of NONE) for the
Japanese install and incorrectly set to KGOTHB1 for the Korean install.
This may cause the default text on a graph to display either incorrectly
or be virtually unreadable.
To circumvent the problem, specify the following statement before any
SAS/GRAPH procedure step:
goptions ftext=none;
