When running SAS^®Enterprise Miner™ using SAS 9.1.3 with Service Pack 4 installed, the Transform Variables node might return an error when Optimal Binning is requested for a numeric variable with some missing values. To avoid this problem, impute the missing values for the continuous variables that you want to bin. Create indicator variables for these variables to identify which of the values were originally missing.
