Usage Note 18665: The FILENAME FTP engine wraps records greater then 256 when FTPing to
MVS
The FILENAME FTP access method requires that the LRECL be defined as a
RCMD= command and as a FTP option to avoid wrapping records with a
length greater then 256 when FTPing to MVS.
For example:
FILENAME OUT FTP 'TEST.TDC2' DEBUG HOST='SDCMVS' USER='XXXXXX'
PASS='********' RCMD='SITE TRK PRI=20 SEC=10 LRECL=2200 BLKSIZE=0
RECFM=VB' LRECL=2200;
You must define the LRECL in the FTP RCMD to allocate the MVS file
with a record length greater then 256. You must also specify LRECL as
a FILENAME FTP option so that records will not be wrapped to a
new record after the default length of 256.
