Usage Note 18652: Slow response times in RCSA when more than 5 active users
This issue applies to SAS® OpRisk Monitor 3.3.
It was necessary to modify some database access logic for performance
reasons. In the original code, when more than 5 users were using RCSA,
there was a significant and unacceptable performance degradation.
Symptoms of this issue are the presence of HTTP error 500 messages in
the WebLogic Server log. Under this condition, per user performance
varied from 4 to 10 minutes.
The error was caused by too many database access activities based on
original algorithms when taking into account all the risks, causes,
and controls on a Questionnaire Template.
This issue is resolved by SAS OpRisk Monitor 3.3 Hotfix 33ORM01.
