while using the JAWS screen reader with SASĀ® 9.1.3 on the Windows
platform
If you use the JAWS screen reader with SAS 9.1.3 on the Windows
platform, the SAS Display Manager keys will fail when you
- select Window ► Output from the SAS menu to display the
Output window
- select Tools ► Options ► Output from the SAS menu
- click OK.
After executing these steps, you can encounter key problems such as the
following:
- The F11 key fails to return you to the command bar.
- You must press the key combination Alt + F4 twice to close the SAS

In addition, the Output window might not work at all (in some cases)
until you restart SAS.
