Problem Note 18531: SAS® Solutions Repository - ERROR: Failed to create metric table

If you are using SAS Financial Management release 4.2, SAS Human Capital Management release 4.2, or SAS Strategic Performance Management release 2.2, and your installation of SAS Data Integration Studio has been upgraded from release 3.3 to 3.4, the upgrade will cause Metric Tables to fail.
For example, if you are using SAS Financial Management and you attempt to Export as Measure you will receive the following ERROR:
ERROR [MeasureExportManagerBean] com.sas.solutions.finance.models.FinanceServerException: Failed to create metric table
The SAS Data Integration Studio upgrade overrides the TreeType from MetricTables to BIP Folder. For the SAS Performance Management Solutions, this TreeType is used as a subset to determine tables identified as Metric Tables. The upgrade changes the type in the BIP tree metadata and results in problems in the Solutions Repositories.
If you have upgraded to SAS Data Inegration Studio 3.4, you will need to apply the SAS Data Integration Studio 3.4 hot fix to resolve this issue.
