Problem Note 18313: Missing data might occur when importing Microsoft Excel files into SAS® Enterprise Guide®

Rows or columns of data might be missing after importing Microsoft Excel data into SAS Enterprise Guide. To attempt to circumvent the problem, use the following steps to change a registry setting:

  1. Select Start ► Run. Enter the command Regedit and click OK.
  2. Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
  3. Expand to Software\Microsoft\Jet\4.0\Engines.
  4. Select Excel.
  5. Right-click on TypeGuessRows and choose Modify.
  6. Change the value to 0 (Zero).
