Problem Note 17971: Query may not filter correctly for datetime values in SAS® Enterprise Guide®

The Query Builder may not filter datetime values correctly in SAS Enterprise Guide. For example, if the formatted value for a datetime value is '01JAN2006:10:11:12.123456', and that value is selected from the list of data values for a filter, the query result will not find the match. The reason is the value used in the filter is '01JAN2006:10:11:12'dt, instead of '01JAN2006:10:11:12.123456'dt.
To circumvent the problem, unselect 'Use formatted dates' in the Edit Filter window of the Query Builder.
