Problem Note 17945: A server is not responding message incorrectly appears when a process runs for more than one hour
When a SAS® Enterprise Miner™ for Desktop process has been running for longer than an hour, a possibly incorrect pop-up dialog might be displayed:
Server is not responding. Would you like to cancel the process?
The message might appear after one hour even if the process is responding. If the process is still responding, then the message is not correct – the message should not appear if the process is responding.
There are two choices in the dialog. Even though the dialog is displayed, the process on the server still continues working unless you select "Yes". If you choose "Yes", then the process is canceled. If you choose "No", then the process continues and the dialog closes. You will get a "Run Completed" dialog when the flow completes.
