Problem Note 17915: Memory leak in transcoding routine from MBCS to MBCS

You may experience a memory leak (memory being used but not freed) when transcoding from one multi-byte encoding to another. The problem became apparent when using the SAP libname engine to transcode from ms-936 to utf-8.
