Usage Note 17748: SAS® Web Report Studio might experience performance problems when the report contains multidimensional data with synchronized objects

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

By default, report sections in SAS Web Report Studio that are based on multidimensional data sources contain synchronized objects. The report section is synchronized as soon as you select data items from the data source.

This might cause performance problems if the report contains only one object. The performance problems are introduced by an unexpected inefficiency in the way bread crumbs are created. A work around for this issue is to make synchronized objects independent. Complete these steps in the Edit Report view to set the state of the objects to independent:

  1. Select Independent Objects in the drop-down list on the horizontal tool bar.
  2. Save the report.

Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
