An application error similar to the following partial message might occur when opening an information map using SAS Enterprise Guide 4.1:

   Enterprise Guide has encountered an unexpected error;
   click Show Details for more information.
   System.NullReferenceException
   Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

The problem will most likely occur if the library and libref defined in the SAS Management Console are different or are specific names.

For example, the following combinations will cause the error:

   Lib Name: EGuide
   Libref:   EGTASK

   Lib Name: SASWORK
   Libref:   WORK

These combinations will not cause the error:

   Lib Name: EGTASK
   Libref:   EGTASK

   Lib Name: WORK
   Libref:   WORK
