Problem Note 17397: ANYDTDTEw. informat generates missing values
When date values in the form of ddmmyyyy are read with the ANYDTDTEw.
informat, missing values are generated for days between the 16th and
21st of the month, inclusive. For example:
data a;
input date anydtdte8.;
format date mmddyy10.;
datalines;
15122005
16122005
17122005
21122005
22122005
;
proc print data=a;
run;
produces:
Obs date
1 12/15/2005
2 .
3 .
4 .
5 12/22/2005
The circumvention is to use the DDMMYY8. informat instead.
This is fixed in SAS 9.2.
