Usage Note 17283: Lowering the MAXWHTHREADS= value can prevent unique indexing
With SPD Server 4.3 TSM1, if you have the MAXWHTHREADS= value set to
anything lower than the default value of 64, the index may not be
created as unique.
You will see the following error message in the SAS log:
ERROR: Duplicate keys appear in unique-type index.
The occurrence of the error depends on the size of the data set, the
number of observations, and the MAXWHTHREADS= value.
To obtain a fix for this problem, please download the lastest
SPD Server 4.3 TSM1 modules for your system from the SAS FTP download
site:
