Usage Note 17230: How to log report access information for SAS Web Report Studio
In SAS Web Report Studio, a log file named
WebReportStudio_KeyActions.log
is created. By default, this log only shows when you log on and off Web
Report Studio. However, you can edit the DefaultLoggerProperties.xml
file to change the logging level from WARN to INFO. After SAS Web Report
Studio is restarted, information on which report is opened will also be
included in the log. For example, the entries might look like this:
16:55:12,369 WARN [ SAS Demo User] KeyUserActionLog - Logon: (sasdemo)
16:55:45,808 INFO [ SAS Demo User] KeyUserActionLog - Report open:
(/ReportStudio/Shared/Reports/Test/Myreport)
SAS Web Report Viewer has its own DefaultLoggerProperties.xml file and
WebReportViewer_KeyActions.log file. When you open a Web Report Studio
report in the Portal, the action will get logged to this file.
