Problem Note 16980: Microsoft Excel generates extra prompts when filtering on large data sets with SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office

When you filter large amounts of SAS data in the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office, the following prompt might appear:
Microsoft Excel is waiting for another application to complete an OLE action.
Excel generates the prompt because when you filter very large data sets, the process runs longer than Excel expects. The prompt does not interfere with the filtering process, which continues to run.
To get rid of the prompt, click OK.
