You may get a write access violation error or incorrect data values for measures in a cube built with the IGNORE_MISSING_DIMKEYS option. You may see measures that are unexpectedly large or small such that they are displayed in scientific notation or that appear to be possibly correct when in fact they may not be. Alternatively, the cube build may fail with the following write access violation:

It is strongly recommended that you NOT use this option.

If only one dimension in the cube has missing dimension keys, this problem can be avoided by defining that dimension first in either PROC OLAP code or in SAS^® OLAP Cube Studio.
