Certain combinations of AND and OR nodes in a SAS® Campaign Studio diagram can cause errors when you attempt to update counts. The traceback will contain an IntelligentQueryException. It may contain the following messages:
Caused by: com.sas.iquery.intelligentquery.IntelligentQueryException: Error generating physical query. [ com.sas.iquery.generation2.GenerationException: The business model object (Type ="DataItem", Label="", ID="GenericBusinessModelID.DII_2") references other objects that are not usable in a query and cause the business model object to be unusable in a query. There are 6 reasons that those objects are unusable. Those reasons follow immediately in the list of reasons.
You may be able to circumvent the problem by changing the type of the join used on the OR node to be "meets the conditions of any input node".
