Problem Note 16336: Error when switching repositories when the BI Manager plugin
(sas.smc.bimanager.jar) is installed.
When selecting a Project or Custom Repository from the drop down list in
the SAS Management Console (SMC) or when creating a profile that
connects to the Project Repository, the following error may occur:
Error accessing metadata: BIP Service Software Component is
missing from repository.
This repository was not properly initialized, was not
upgraded from a previous version, or has been corrupted.
After clicking 'OK', the error message disappears and the Custom or
Project Repository can be used without problems. Customers get a false
failure, which could lead the customer to try to fix something that does
not need to be fixed.
The "workaround" is not to install the BI Manager plug-in.
